Christmas Charity Collections 2023
Yet again the generosity of our team has blown us away.
Many families local to us in Blackpool face difficult decisions this Christmas. Do they spend money on food or toys for the kids? So we asked our staff which charity do they want to support this Christmas? The resounding response was BOTH!
So this year we have held toy collections for MISSION CHRISTMAS CASH FOR KIDS and a food collection for BLACKPOOL FOOD BANK.
Mission Christmas
Our team organised themselves to make sure children of all ages were catered for in this huge collection of toys we dropped off at the Mission Christmas collection point.
With so many children living in poverty the Mission Christmas charity wants to make sure every child wakes up on Christmas morning to a present. Our thanks go to Amy Sawkill for arranging this collection on Easthams’ behalf.
Blackpool Food Bank
We are so proud that our team wanted to continue supporting our local food bank.
The collection of food we delivered to the food bank today was bigger than last year and will help the food bank continue to support local families across the festive period.
Last year the charity delivered 3,600 food parcels across Blackpool and 266 tonnes of food delivered to their partners. Sadly the need for the charity shows no signs of diminishing.
